In all four stories, i could see a women with unfulfilled desire for sex. The same theme could have been handeld through one story rather than telling through the four stories which is really boring. To an extent the story of our women today is also not different but the way Adoor narrated the story is UN sahickable

I am scared, tomorrow another gopalakrishan( KS Golalakrsihnan) may come out with the stories of 10 women ( 10 thundu peice as like berli saying) and claim it as a master peice. May be IV Sasi also may opt the same route.....Avalude 4 ravukal

First of all "Four Bebes" is not at all a great movie and i agree with T V Chandran, this is like a half finished serial. I respect Adoor as a director for his movies Kodiyettam and Mukhamugham. But i request Adoor to make films which are contemporary and we are really bored with your same treatment of charactors lived 50 or more years before our time. I hope Adoor will come back with his old glory and only one request, please dont spoil a good movie like Vidheyan by wrong charactor selction, if you selected Thilakan or Jagathy for the same role, can you imagine the kind of difference it would have made?

The only hope while seeing the movie was....i expected Padmapriya and Husband to do some thing in the first night but later on only my friend said Adoor was sleeping in the middle preventing them from doing....?

Dear friend, you said like award’s integrity is already lost. But think... just because of these awards Malayalam is standing proudly in front of other language films. Can you just imagine our industry without these awards also? You can justify by saying “there were a big crowd audience in India for Padmarajan and Bharathan also. They didn’t get any national awards”. Yes that’s true. But it was 15 or 20 years ago. Now the film industry in all other language has boomed a lot. Bollywood and kollywood is not playing with their stupid triangle love stories now. So these awards are the only a console for our industry. T V Chandran will criticize Adoor, that’s very natural. There are many stories behind that. And I don’t think adoors film is not like serial. anyway thanks

This is a latest phenomenon that many people are interested to write against Adoor and other parallel film directors like this. These people are thinking like they have done something great by this criticizing. To tell you some thing Adoor is a great director, Adoor, Mani kaul, John Abraham, Satyajit Ray these are the people who heralded to the world at first that there are some good movies in India also. I am not a BUJI but I am common audient or a person who appreciates good things. You can tell Srinivasan is better than Adoor, so the same time you should tell Lohitha das is better than Pathmarajan. Even many of Pathmarajan stories were enjoyed by a group of people who had good awareness in literature. I don’t think reality is the best form of an art. You can criticize people but should not be blind

തന്റെ പേരില്‍ ഒരു സിനിമ ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ ഒരു അവാര്‍ഡ്‌ കിട്ടുക എന്നത് തന്റെ ജന്മാവകശമെന്നു കരുതുന്ന ഒരു വ്യക്തിയാണ് അടൂര്‍ എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു ..നാല് പെണ്ണുങ്ങളില്‍ ഇദേഹം അവാര്‍ഡ്‌ കിട്ടാന്‍ വേണ്ടി എന്താണ് ചെയ്തതെന്ന് മനസിലാവുന്നില്ല ..ആ സിനിമ ആരെങ്കിലും സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തിരുന്നോ എന്ന് തന്നെ സംശയം ആണ്.. അതിനു തലയും വാലും ഇല്ല :) ടി വി ചന്ദ്രന്‍ പറഞ്ഞത് ശെരിയാണ് ..അത് ഒരു ടി വി സീരിയല്‍ ആണ്.. സിനിമ അല്ല..അടൂര്‍ വലിയ പുള്ളി ആയിരിക്കും. പണ്ട് പല നല്ല സിനിമകളും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടാവും..പക്ഷെ അവാര്‍ഡ്‌ എന്നാ പേരില്‍ എന്ത് ചവറും എടുത്തു സിനിമ ഫെസ്ടിവലിന് അയക്കാം എന്ന് പുള്ളി കരുതുന്നുണ്ട് എന്ന് വേണം മനസിലാക്കാന്‍ . അടൂര്‍ മുന്‍പ് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത സിനിമകള്‍ ഈ അവാര്‍ഡ്‌ ലഭിക്കാന്‍ ജൂറി ഒരു മാനദണ്ഡം ആക്കി എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു..
എന്തായാലും അവാര്‍ഡുകളുടെ integrity എപ്പോഴേ നഷ്ടപെട്ടു .. തുപ്പിയാലും തൂറിയാലും.ഇപ്പോള്‍ അവാര്‍ഡ്‌ കിട്ടുന്ന കാലം അല്ലെ ?
